Prepare a private export
In Account Settings, type EXPORT MY DATA to prepare a resumable export. A ready export provides a private JSON index plus a private link for every JSON data part. The export expires seven days after it was requested.
- Profile, authentication timestamps, plan, subscription state, and billing usage.
- Owned and joined workspaces, invitations, members, projects, objects, and version metadata.
- Shares, inboxes, previews, retention, CI trust, machine session, acceptance session, and redacted audit metadata.
- CLI session and API token metadata, without raw credentials.
Retrieve bytes without exporting secrets
Object bytes are not copied into the JSON artifacts. Each version record includes an immutable byd:// URI and an authenticated blobyard download command. Run the commands you need while the account is active. Every original-byte download still enforces current account and workspace authorization.
Complete both deletion phases
Before deletion, remove every other member and pending invite from workspaces you own. Then enter the current account email and type DELETE MY ACCOUNT. Blob Yard immediately suspends product access, revokes credentials and capabilities, cancels billing, and removes private storage and metadata in retryable batches.
After product cleanup, the deletion-status page offers a 15-minute Better Auth verification link that deletes the sign-in identity. A suspended or signed-out user can sign in with a return link to the status page without regaining dashboard access.
Retry safely and understand retention
A failed cleanup stage can be retried from the deletion-status page. Product access stays blocked. Blob Yard deletes or minimises account records as cleanup completes, while limited billing, tax, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, audit, or legal records may remain where required or justified. Encrypted metadata recovery artifacts can retain deletions for up to 30 days and do not copy R2 object bytes.
